History of TM Jesenice dates back to the beginning of 1969, when was established machine works plant focused on production cooperation for machine works companies of Rakovník district. In 1975 was established PIKAZ Jesenice, a plant engaged especially in production of single-purpose machines to meet needs of automobile industry companies. Already in the 70ies the Jesenice plant was producing single-purpose machines controlled by programmable controllers, at that time of high technical level.

By this technically demanding production was in Jesenice established a team of highly qualified workers, which after 1989 continued to work in the privatized company FEREX and since 1994 in TM on changed manufacturing program focused on production of band saws for metal.
In the last years the plant has reached the level of its foreign competitors through technical innovation and acquired confidence of the customers as well as the competitors resulting in establishing cooperation with foreign partners. The company has become more and more successful on highly competitive foreign market. Export grows every year.
In 2001 we became the representatives of AMADA Company in the field of band saw sales for the Czech and Slovak Republic. Bands of the Japanese manufacturer, which are characteristic by their high quality and low operating noise level, are offered in extent suitable for all types of materials and machines. Bands are welded to required length. In January 2002, TM Jesenice established an authorized welding center in its plant, which significantly shortened the delivery time.
At the end of 2002 a new company PILOUS-TMJ, s. r. o., was established by merging the business activities of two big manufacturers of band saws – PILOUS – pásové pily, spol. s r. o., and TM Jesenice servis, spol. s r. o.
Production of PILOUS – pásové pily was focused especially on small and medium size swinging arm band saws, while the manufacturing program of TM Jesenice consists of bigger size band saws.
Assortment of both companies is optimally complemented, which confirm also some of our foreign partners, who have been offering both brands for some time. (Germany, Russia, England, Austria, Belgium, …)
Joint manufacturing program of PILOUS-TMJ currently represents the biggest comprehensive offer of band saws and accessories in the world. This offer allows to part material of the size from 100 to 1300 mm on more then 100 types of professional band saws in many modifications. Besides this principal offer, PILOUS-TMJ is engaged in construction and production of single-purpose band saws. By this the company can meet technical requirements of virtually any customer.
The existing parent companies continue in their activities as strictly manufacturing plants. PILOUS-TMJ, s. r. o., as a trade organization takes care of sale of the whole assortment abroad.
From this new business strategy we expect faster penetration into new markets, strengthening of sales on the existing markets and significant cost savings on promotions and trade fairs. Joint work of the construction teams of both parent companies, sharing of interesting construction solutions and unification of certain parts and technological entities should lead to further improvement of already high technological level of our machines resulting in higher quality and interesting prices for you, our customers.
2004–2006 Project realization within programme Rozvoj II (Development II) (support from „OPIB“) with term Modernization band saws production of purpose implementation new high-power band saws in batch production.
